is from São Paulo, Brazil. He trained at Escola Técnica de Dança Adriana Assaf where he also graduated.  He was invited as a guest artist to dance with renowned companies in Brazil such as Companhia Jovem do Theatro Municipal de São Paulo and Companhia Paulista de Dança Adriana Assaf. Mr. Maciel also participated in internationally recognized Summer Intensives such as Miami City Ballet School and Sarasota Ballet School where he was awarded with full tuition scholarships to their Trainee Programs.  He has participated in international festivals including Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition and Joinville's International Festival of Dance.
