Moegi Matsuzawa, was born in Yokohama, Japan and received her early training at Abiatt Ballet Studio in her native country. She continued her training at Pacific Northwest Ballet School. She later received a scholarship and joined The Rock School for Dance Education. Ms. Matsuzawa also attended Summer Intensive Programs at Pacific Northwest Ballet School, School of American Ballet and Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida. She performed "Coppélia” at the Public Juridical Foundation Japan Ballet Association and Bruce Wells’ ”Beauty and the Beast” at Pacific Northwest Ballet School.
