ARTS BALLET IN CORAL GABLES

Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida returns to the beautiful Sanctuary of the Arts in Coral Gables this February for a special performance that brings the magic of classical and contemporary ballet to an intimate setting. Supported by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the City of Coral Gables, this exclusive program offers audiences a captivating glimpse into the company’s diverse and acclaimed repertoire.

 

The program features Yanis Pikieris’ vibrant Danzón; the exhilarating Spring Waters, choreographed by Asaf Messerer to the music of Sergei Rachmaninoff; and the magnificent Grand Pas from Raymonda, a dazzling showcase of classical technique, elegance, and artistry.

 

The performance will also include excerpts from Vladimir Issaev’s Four Seasons, set to Giuseppe Verdi’s music from the grand opera Les Vêpres Siciliennes. Through expressive choreography and rich musicality, the work explores the changing seasons with a series of distinctive and beautifully crafted pas de deux.
