2023 ANNIVERSARY SPRING BALLET GALA

Formerly known as The Parker Playhouse
Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida will conclude the celebrations of their 25th Anniversary season at The Lillian S. Wells Hall at The Parker Playhouse of Fort Lauderdale, by welcoming international guest artists to present new and old works alongside their professional artists.
Repertoire includes; Nebrada's Double Clef, Taiko, Endless, excerpts from Le Corsaire, Issaev’s Le Papillon, and Stravinsky's Firebird. There will be several honorees and internationally acclaimed dancers and choreographers joining us for this celebration. Among them, is Janis Liu, former principal dancer of Arts Ballet and now Artistic Director of The Grand Ballet of Hong Kong performing Le Papillon.
We are very proud to announce that Ms. Skylar Brandt, Principal Dancer with American Ballet Theater will be joining us to perform Le Corsaire Pas de Deux.
To top it all off, Maestro Vladimir Issaev will be celebrating his 60th artistic anniversary as an important member of the international dance community. In honor of this occasion, Ms. Mary Carmen Catoya, prima ballerina of Miami and Caracas, formerly with Miami City Ballet and Ballet Nacional de Caracas, will return to the stage to celebrate Mr. Issaev’s anniversary.
